Tour of Britain – 8th June 2024 – Update
An update has been received regarding the likely impact of The Tour of Britain on Lower Withington Parish:
“The Tour of Britain should be coming through Lower Withington between 11.50 and 12.10. It will be on a rolling road block basis, where Police Motorbike riders at the front of the race block road entrances for about 20 minutes until the last of the riders has gone through. Once all riders and cars have gone through the roads are re-opened; therefore any road closure and speed limit suspension should be over in 20 minutes.”
Details of the whole route of Stage 3 of The Tour of Britain is available from British Cycling.
