We are elected or co-opted members of the local community.

We want to do something positive and aim to make a difference by influencing decisions that affect your village.

Parish councillors give their time (they are not paid) to work on your behalf, serving to improve the quality of life and local environment

The parish council meets several times a year and the minutes of recent meetings are available to view on the Parish Council meeting minutes page of this website.

The parish council’s role is to represent the interests of the whole community, so residents views are important.

The Parish Council takes an active role in helping to ensure that our beautiful village and surrounds is protected and maintained and strives to address any local issues, supporting and helping all our local residents.

The Parish Council comprises 8 councillors which meets at 7:30pm every month (except August and December) in the Parish Hall. Minutes from the previous meeting will be posted on this website.
