Update from Manchester Airport on the Manchester Airport Future Airspace project:
Dear Lower Withington Parish Council,
We are contacting you to provide an update on the Manchester Airport Future Airspace project. On Friday 18th November we submitted documentation to the CAA for the CAP1616 Stage 2 Develop & Assess Gateway.
We would like to thank you, once again, for participating in the engagement sessions and providing your thoughts and feedback on our work during Stage 2. Your feedback has helped to shape and guide our work throughout the last year. Since we last spoke to you in May and June, our designers worked to amend various route options and create additional ones to meet the feedback that we received. Since then, all these options have then been through an appraisal process. The process followed is outlined in the documentation submitted to the CAA. We have uploaded this documentation for anyone to view on the CAA Manchester Airspace Change Portal.
We expect that the CAA will advise us on their decision (whether or not we progress on to Stage 3) towards the end of the year/beginning of 2023. In the meantime, if you require further information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Daniella or me.
